Posture

i was on guard duty the other day and suddenly thought about movies showing girls walking around with books on their heads to teach them proper posture. i realize now this technique was a mistake. instead, they should have simply worn an OTV for a couple hours each day. sure, with a book on your head you will know right away if your posture is off, but try slumping with an OTV on. you may not immediately know you're wrong, but in a couple hours the pain in your lower back will remind you for quite some time to come. and really, pain is a more demanding teacher than treasure island falling by your feet.

Yep! Aching back pain and possibly long term disfigurement is a completely reasonable technique for teaching posture. I completely agree!

Hope all is well. Keep up the good work! Big story in the news here in the States is that Afghanistan is the new long-term problem for the United States, not Iraq. I figure that has mostly to do with the fact that you are in Iraq now. Now that you are there, things are better! Actually, the economy got bad here right after we found out you were leaving. So you should make a quick trip to Afghanistan in fix things up there and then hurry home! The auto industry and housing markets need you BAD!
